The BESTPRACTICE® standards cover all areas to ensure that you and your pet receive consistently high-quality treatment. Since achieving accreditation in November 2000, Vet Marlborough has committed to delivering the best possible service and care for every pet that visits us.

Promoting Professionalism and Excellence

The New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) established the Practice Standards to promote and maintain superior levels of professionalism and service across veterinary practices. According to the NZVA BESTPRACTICE® website, “The standards encourage the ongoing critical evaluation of the practice’s surgical, medical, diagnostic, and nursing protocols in order to maintain a high level of excellence. There is a strong emphasis on compliance with current New Zealand legislation as it affects veterinary practices and NZVA policy.”

Exclusive Accreditation in Marlborough

Out of approximately 400 veterinary practices in New Zealand, only 65 currently hold BESTPRACTICE® accreditation. Vet Marlborough stands out as the only accredited clinic in the Marlborough region, demonstrating our commitment to superior care.

Maintaining the Highest Standards

To achieve accreditation, practices must meet every component of the BESTPRACTICE® standards. Moreover, we maintain our accreditation through independent audits every two years, ensuring that our high standards continue to benefit every pet and client.
