Cat Friendly Clinic

Cats are often quite anxious about their trip to the vet. We follow a ‘fear-free philosophy’ and try to make their visit as stress-free as possible. Cats resent physical restraint, so we handle them as gently as possible and use pheromone sprays, which have a calming effect on cats.  For those cats that need to stay in the hospital, we have separate cat and dog wards so that cats can relax without being stressed out by dogs. Pain relief is also a big part of reducing stress and anxiety levels, and we use several methods to relieve pain in our hospital patients.
